Moduret is used as a treatment for high blood pressure and water retention. The medicine is found in the form of tablets. The drug is basically a combination drug of hydrochlorothiazide and amiloride.

The starting dosage for Moduret is up to 1 tablet a day. The medicine dosage can be increased to a maximum of 2 tablets a day.

Hydrochlorothiazide when used is isolation is given as a dosage of 12.5 to 50 mg per day. When hydrochlorothiazide is used in combination with other antihypertensive drugs, increasing of the dosage more than 50 mg per day is not required.
